Facilitating Situations (F*S) began in 2017 in Milwaukee, WI as an idea for channeling questions around market development and alternative platforms for expressing creative ideas for myself and others. It has morphed over the years to become responsive to my cultural production interests.

Under F*S, I have explored my cultural interests through exhibitions, self-published works, site-specific installations, programming, and research and strategy building. 

My work and interests explore spatial relationships between humans, art, and the variances and poetics of landscape. I am firmly pro-arts and pro-artist, with a focus on supporting Queer and culturally diverse art communities. I engage with economic development for the arts as both an advocate and a strategic thinker.

Monica Miller (she/they) is an artist and cultural producer with extensive curatorial, administrative, and art production experience in institutions, grassroots non-profit and education spaces. They live in Los Angeles, CA and have worked across the Southwest and Midwest regions of the United States.
