May 9, 2026
1639 18th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404

Blind Date aims to connect artists, cultural producers, and creatives to their peers through platonic, intimate, and one-on-one curated hangouts. This project pairs unique-to-you matches that give you an opportunity to meet your next friend, collaborator, or supporter.

18th Street Arts Center will host Blind Date on several Saturdays in May between 10am-2pm. The time and day of your date will be confirmed once the connection survey deadline has closed.

How to sign up for a Blind Date:

Step 1: Fill out the Connection Survey below. Be specific about how you want to present yourself and what you’re looking for on your date.

Step 2: Facilitating Situations will carefully review each submission for the best possible match.

Step 3: Your platonic Blind Date will be assigned. Both you and your date will receive a separate email to confirm a date and time to meet at 18th Street Arts Center.

Step 4: Plan to meet your date! On the day of the date, arrive promptly at 18th Street and check-in with Facilitating Situations before you are introduced to your match.

Step 5: Enjoy your date! A space will be arranged for you at 18th Street to comfortably get to know one another. Dates can run between 30 min - 1 hour… or more!

Step 6: After the date concludes, complete reflection questionnaire to record your experience.
