Blind Date aims to connect fellow artists, cultural producers, and creatives to their peers through platonic, intimate, and one-on-one curated introductions. This project pairs unique-to-you matches that give you an opportunity to meet your next friend, collaborator, or supporter.
18th Street Arts Center will host Blind Date on Saturday, June 6 between 10am-2pm. The time and day of your date will be confirmed once the connection survey deadline has closed.
How to sign up for a Blind Date:
Step 1: Fill out the Connection Survey below. Try to be as specific as possible about what you’re looking for on your date.
Step 2: Facilitating Situations will carefully review each submission for the best possible match.
Step 3: Your platonic Blind Date will be assigned. Both you and your date will receive a separate email to confirm a match has been made and a confirmation of the date day and time.
Step 4: Plan to meet your date! On the day of the date, arrive promptly at 18th Street and check-in with Facilitating Situations before you are introduced to your match.
Step 5: Enjoy your date! A space will be arranged for you at 18th Street to comfortably get to know one another. Dates can run between 30 min - 1 hour… or more!
Step 6: After the date concludes, complete a reflection questionnaire to record your experience.
